Pebbledrift Cottage is a privately owned and managed seaside holiday rental property centrally located in Charlestown near St Austell, with access to the beach, pubs, restaurants and other amenities all within a few minutes walk.
Externally Pebbledrift Cottage is an attractive and traditionally styled stone walled cottage with its own secluded court yard garden and reserved off road parking, within a private car park. Internally, the living accomodation is modern and contemporary with bedrooms and bath room located downstairs and light and airy open plan living accommodation on the first floor.
Charlestown is a historic World Heritage site recognised for its uniquely well preserved and active working Georgian harbour and square-rigged tall ships. Charlestown has its own beach, a short and easy walk from the cottage, which offers safe bathing, paddleboarding and canoeing. Other popular local beaches at Duporth, Porthpean, Carlyon Bay and Polkerris are also easily accessible on foot via the South West Coastal path running through Charlestown, by Bus (frequent services stop outside Pebbledrift Cottage) or by car.
Charlestown has a range of pubs and restaurants, cafes and diners also less than a 5-minute walk from Pebbledrift Cottage several of which offer inside and/or outside seating with stunning views across the harbour with its tall ships or across St Austell Bay. There are also several small shops and galleries located in the village and a shipwreck and heritage museum near the harbour.
Unlike many seaside towns, Charlestown venues and amenities are generally open all year round making it a great base for exploring locally or further afield at any time of year. Charlestown is close to St Austell in mid Cornwall and offers excellent walking, cycling, car, bus and rail links to other popular destinations across the whole Cornish peninsular.
